Here is another unique holiday time celebration that shouldn’t be missed if you live at the beach. Head to Downtown Jacksonville Beach, where 20 Red Cross lifeguard chairs will be decorated with a coastal theme and sparkling lights. There will also be music, hot cocoa and judging once the chairs are complete.
Adventure Landing is transforming their usual tropical water park into a winter wonderland. This is a great chance to experience ice and snow for your Florida Christmas! The infamous Alpine Racer will be turned into a 130 ft long ice slide, there will be a skating rink, Alpine Village and more.
Head to the Beaches Museum for a fun day of Christmas activities. Besides enjoying the history park, children can write a letter to Santa Claus and make crafts while enjoying cookies and hot cocoa. The cherry on the top is the museum’s very own Polar Express train, where you can meet Santa and the conductor.
