Spingtime in Jacksonville is a beautiful thing. After the cold winter months have subsided, Floridians are craving the sun’s warm rays, blue sky and fresh outdoor air.

In Northeast, FL, spring is an especially enjoyable time, because festivals begin popping up all along the First Coast. These community based festivals are a blast for the entire family, from new events to annual ones that have been ringing in the advent of warmer weather for years. Florida Strawberry festival

When: March 1- 11, 2018

If you love strawberries, then head to Plant City, FL for an 11 day celebration of Eastern Hillsborough County’s annual harvest. There’s much to take in and plenty of activities for everyone. Live entertainment fills the festival with tunes and dancing, there are youth livestock shows, rides, exhibits and plenty of delicious foods to sample- filled with strawberries, of course!

Jacksonville Springing the Blues Festival
