Located in Southside, this dog park is great if you’re looking for a way to let your doggie stay cool in the Florida heat, all while enjoying immense space to romp and roam. It boast 42-acres dedicated to dogs and is one of the country’s largest fenced in dog parks. This includes an impressive 2 acre lake known as Lake Bow Wow, fields, a wooded area with trails and a specific area with another lake for small sized dogs.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park & Beach

Hanna Park is a blast for the entire family, dogs included. This well-preserved park in Mayport not offers beautiful beach, but plenty of wooded area with trails, BBQ spots, a freshwater lake and pet-friendly campgrounds. Let your dog enjoy North Florida nature at its best- just don’t forget to bring the leash, which is compulsory for dogs in the park.

Ed Austin Dog Park

In Arlington you can visit this beautiful golf course-turned-park which features a wide array of doggie comforts, such as 4 acres of fields where leashes aren’t required. There is plenty of shade to get out of the heat, tables and a small dog area to let the little guys frolic without worry.

Kanine Social
